Here’s what you can order with your Vivint home system
Unlike other home security companies, Vivint’s smart home services are customized for renters. Find out about a few of the most in demand sensors and services:
Motion alarms and glass sensors can alert you when an unwanted visitor enters your apartment or rental house. Get an alert to your phone when an alarm goes off, or arm and disarm your components remotely and let in guests or maintenance when you’re not home.
Fire and safety detectors
Smoke detectors should come as part of your apartment or rental home, but not other CO or water alarms. Install a wireless carbon monoxide alarm or water sensor to notify you and your monitoring team to danger before it’s too late.
Indoor or doorbell cameras
A security cameras may be wirelessly hung so you can keep an eye on kids or living rooms. A doorbell camera gives you the option to view -- and converse with -- whoever is at the front door. See live HD feeds and notifications about suspicious movement through the mobile security app.
One of the benefits of going with Vivint is the monitoring team that back up tripped alarms. When a device trips, your monitoring agents immediately contacts you to see if you’re in a safe location. Then they’ll turn around and call the fire or police departments.
Smart home devices
Home automation items, such as smart lighting, can be added to make your apartment more energy-efficient. Some components like a replacement thermostat or smart locks may require prior management approval.
The Vivint App
Your Logan security system is able to be managed from home or away through the Vivint App. Watch real-time camera feeds, remotely activate components, or set up times for all your smart devices. Then allow alerts to your smartphone if an alarm goes off or a camera sees suspicious motion.
